I'm so excited for this fight. I picked Cerrone, but I made a small play on Henderson.

An amazing fight! Definitely a fight of the year contender. I gave the first three rounds to Henderson and the last two to Cerrone. In teh first I thought Henderson's strikes were worth more than Cerrone's submission attempts. Just like in the fight with Varner, Cerrone seemed to do better in the later rounds. I have to think that Cerrone would win the fight if there were no time limits.

I gave rounds 1,4,5 to Cerrone. No 10-8 rounds.

Henderson didn't land many meaningful strikes in the first and spent a long time in DEEP submission attempts.

In the first round Cerrone had submissions locked from 4:40 - 3:30, at that point Henderson started getting the better of the the striking. From 2:00 Henderson controlled Cerrone and had pretty effective striking.

How much is a minute of subs worth if Henderson escapes (and he did escape)?

The Henderson/Cerrone FightMetric results for are in (if you're not following FightMetric, you probably shouldn't be listening to me either). I encourage you to see the Total Performance Report yourself, but in summary: Cerrone won rounds 4 & 5, Henderson won rounds 2 & 3. In round 1, Henderson scored more points than Cerrone, BUT by such a slim margin that it should have been a draw. Its also noteworthy that in total, Cerrone scored more points than Henderson. A rematch is definitely in order.
